APPLETON, Wis. — The goal is to get 300 pet adoptions, last year more than 300 animals found their forever homes, and $1,800 was raised for animal shelters. The "Homes for Project" kicked off this weekend, now in it's second year in Appleton, the hope is to adopt loving pets to loving homes.
"Adopting and re-homing these animals are so important mostly because these fosters some of these animals are staying there for 1, 2, 3 5 years, before they're finding their loving forever homes its extra important because we know these animals are in just temporary housing we want to put them in a loving home" said Megan Jacquet, an organizer for the event.
