Cows killed in crash in Winnebago County

WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Wis. - The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office is looking for the owner of two cows that were hit by a vehicle last night.

It happened on County Highway K near Knott Road. The driver of the vehicle is okay, but the cows did not survive. The animals were two immature angus cows.

The Sheriff's Office wants to direct the owner to where they can find their animals. They ask any farmers who the police spoke to last night double check their animals again today to make sure they are accounted for.
