GREEN BAY (NBC 2G) — UPDATE: Traffic flow is back to normal in the 1300 block of Velp Avenue and drivers are now able to utilize both lanes of travel in each direction.
This follows a late morning traffic crash that caused a full closure on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, due to a knocked down a power pole causing wires to cross the roadway.

UPDATE: As of 3:30, one lane of traffic is open to motorists.

Green Bay Police are asking that drivers avoid the area of the 1300 block of Velp Avenue due to a traffic crash.
Police said drivers should use alternate routes until around 2:45 p.m. or until further notice as the incident has knocked down a power pole causing wires to cross the roadway.
Police have placed barricades and WPS is on the scene assisting.
