KAUKAUNA (NBC 26) — A 12-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter in Kaukauna on Tuesday, according to police.
Investigators say the girl suffered injuries to her arm and shoulder and was taken to a local hospital.
The incident happened just after 3:30 p.m near Catherine and Amanda streets, investigators said.
Officers said the girl was riding her scooter on the sidewalk approaching a Kwik Trip, when a vehicle exiting the gas station hit her.
