GREEN BAY, Wis. — Firefighters battled an early morning garage fire in Green Bay caused by faulty venting of a wood stove.
Crews were called to the scene around 6 a.m. Sunday on the 1100 block of Harvey Street.
The four stall detached garage suffered $10,000 worth of damage to the rear wall and roof area.
The vehicles inside had minimal damage.
No injuries were reported.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department would like to remind everyone to use extreme caution with open flame heating devices and to make sure all the components are clean and in good repair and working order.
