OSHKOSH, Wis. — Excellerate Manufacturing brings something exciting to the table at this year's EAA AirVenture! The local company will unveil new energy product innovations that give a constant, reliable source of power.
The new products include a Solar Ground Mount, Energy Storage and Controls and a Solar Walkway. The products can be used in remote locations such as airfields and airparks and it can even charge entire fleets of electric vehicles, but also electric aircrafts.
The Solar Ground Mount is a modular solar panel that can be installed on an individual basis or as part of large-scale solar fields. When it arrives to the installation site, the already connected frame and racking system provides easy installation wherever it's needed. The Energy Storage and Controls is a pre-built microgrid unit that contains all the control functionality and battery storage needed for a microgrid. It has easy inputs for solar PV or generators and can either be grid connected or operate in "island" mode separate from the traditional energy grid.
The Solar Walkway can provide poor weather protection for pedestrians, while producing renewable energy and power. These walkways can be used between parking lots and buildings, as well as sidewalks and building entrances.
