A Door County cottage was destroyed in a fire early Monday morning.
The call came in around 12:30 a.m. in the town of Gardner.
Firefighters say the fire started in a small cottage, then spread to a larger cottage next door. They were able to save the second cottage.
Firefighters say the first cottage was fully engulfed when they arrived. Several area fire departments were called in to help.
Nobody was home at either cottage, and no injuries were reported.
