SHAWANO — A 25-year-old Bowler man died after a single vehicle rollover crash at about 3 a.m. Monday on Highway N in the town of Almon, Shawano County.
According to the Shawano County Sheriff's Office, another driver reported the crash after observing headlights in the ditch. When deputies arrived, the man was laying in the gravel about 15 feet away from the vehicle. Emergency responders were unable to get a pulse, and the Shawano County Corner was paged.
Investigation showed the driver and sole occupant entered the ditch and struck a culvert surrounded by rocks, which caused the vehicle to overturn and ejected the driver, the Sheriff's Office said in a press release.
