GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Service of League of Green Bay works all year to help children in Brown County have school supplies for the school year. This year during the 27th annual Back-to-School Store the group will help a total of 3000 children.
Not only does the group focus on making sure kids have everything they need to head back to school, but children will get a mini check-up from a dentist and a doctor. In addition, 1,500 backpacks loaded with the school supplies for middle-school children in Brown County were handed out earlier this week.
Volunteers work all year to raise funds to collect all the supplies.
