Appleton Police respond to shots fired call

APPLETON, Wis. — Appleton Officers are investigating a shots fired call that occurred on the southside Friday afternoon, police say.

A previous Facebook post on Appleton Police's page listed the incident at 3300 Block of South Oneida. In an updated news release sent later, police say officers were dispatched for a shots fired call in the 100 Block of E Prim Rose Lane.

Police say officers found a male with with a possible gunshot wound at the scene and sent him to the hospital.

The Appleton Police Department is continuing to investigate
