Juliana Falk joined NBC26 in May 2018 as a multimedia journalist.
Juliana is originally from Port Huron, Michigan, but moved to Wisconsin in 2014 to attend Marquette University in Milwaukee.
While at Marquette, she worked at Marquette University’s television station (MUTV) as an anchor and producer, and interned at WISN 12 News and CBS58. She also interned at WXYZ in Detroit for both Special Projects and Sports.
Favorite thing about Northeast Wisconsin: It reminds me of home! I grew up near Lake Huron and always loved being out on the lake. It’s perfect being so close to the different lakes here and the bay. It’s just like home!
Favorite sports team: Red Wings all the way – Go Detroit!
Favorite movie: I don’t really have a favorite movie. I always choose a new series to binge over a movie…I’m a huge Game of Thrones nerd (and I made sure to visit all the shooting locations while I was in Ireland).
Favorite vacation spot: Grand Turk or anywhere tropical
Something most people don’t know about me: I spent 4 months studying in Dublin, Ireland.
A cause I’m passionate about: I am very passionate about raising domestic violence awareness. I was a member of Alpha Chi Omega at Marquette and our philanthropy is domestic violence awareness. This is a something I gained a lot of knowledge about and worked with many survivors. DVA is very close to my heart.
Best part of my job: I love being able to meet so many new people and share their stories.
