ABRAMS, Wis. — A 14-year old Abrams girl is dead after a crash in Oconto County. The girl has been identified as September Deneys.

It happened Friday at 7:19 p.m. on Sampson Road bear County Highway D in the Township of Abrams.

A vehicle was traveling east when the driver lost control and hit two different trees in the ditch.

An 18-year-old Sobieski man was driving and was found outside the vehicle at the scene of the crash. A 17-year-old Oconto male passenger was also initially found in the back seat. They were both taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Their names were not released in the latest update from the Sheriff's Office.

September Deneys was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sheriff's Office says she was found pinned in the back seat.

Deputies say at this time speed seems to be a factor in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
