Manitowoc police say officers arrested two teenage boys, a 17 year old and a 14 year old, for weapons charges Sunday afternoon.
The 17-year-old driver tried to elude police both while driving and by running once he was pulled over, police said.
Officers arrested the passenger on S. 19th St. and Madison St.
They say they caught the driver near S. 13th St. and Manila St.
Officers found two handguns belonging to a family member of the boys in the glove compartment.
The driver is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, traffic citations and more, according to police.
The passenger is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon by a minor.
Police also arrested two 16-year-old passengers, but they did not charge them with a crime, according to a press release.
