A soaking Saturday with showers and thunderstorms drenched the area in 2-4" of rainfall. From flooded yards to hail being reported, the worst of it is past us.

Tonight, chances for scattered showers spring up after midnight. But will only be able to squeeze out about a quarter inch of rain max. Beware of rising streams and rivers from Menominee to Suamico. Overnight lows will fall to the mid 50s.

Sunday will be a dreary start to the day with overcast skies and spotty sprinkle chances. We remain in the cooler air, with highs reminding us that Fall isn't too far away. With a chilly breeze out of the northeast gusting up to 20mph, it will keep us with high temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s again. Gradual clearing and returning sunshine by the later afternoon, will end our weekend much brighter.

Next week, sunshine returns with an extended dry period as temperatures rebound to the upper 70s and low 80s.

Next shot of rain arrives Friday and into Saturday, it's too early to determine if severe weather is expected or not.
