September gives off a summery feel this week with abundant sunshine and above average high temperatures.
A high pressure continues to dominate the region until Friday night, when a cold front smacks into us. This will fire up a stormy and wet weekend ahead, with up to 3" of rainfall possible.
Highs will hit the mid 80s today and tomorrow, cooling to the upper 60s by the weekend.
