Waking up to cloudy skies and light drizzle, there may be some slick spots as freezing drizzle mixes in too. Temperatures on this Monday morning are in the upper 20s to upper 30s.
Rain showers will continue on and off today, with 1/4" accumulation expected. Highs will climb into the mid and upper 40s with breezy east winds gusting up to 20mph.
Rain will remain in the forecast through Tuesday night. Rains will pick up in intensity Tuesday and Wednesday, total amounts could exceed 1-2 inches, causing some flooding concerns and ice dam problems.
As cold air begins to wrap around this stalled out low pressure, some of the rain could turn over to snow or wintry mix. Freezing rain is also a problem that could exist in the Northwoods.
