Snowy Mid-April Monday: NBC 26 Weather Forecast - April 18, 2022 AM

Posted

After a sunny Easter Sunday, we are waking up to a snowy morning! The heavy wet flakes are reducing visibility, but are thankfully melting quickly on pavement with only some accumulations on the grassy areas. A total of 1-2" is possible as this system winds down, scatters out and turns to mainly drizzle by this afternoon. High temperatures remain cool, in the mid to upper 30s.

Tuesday will be bright and sunny, with highs climbing to the upper 40s. This all ahead of another storm system tracking our way for Wednesday. Bringing heavy rain and gusty winds with it, rivers will continue to rise and threaten flooding along shorelines.

Thursday we get another break in the weather with sunshine out ahead of warm and active stormy weekend ahead.
