Showers arrive tonight as a strong area of low pressure move to our west overnight. Thursday will have morning or early afternoon highs in the low.mid 50s. Strong SE/SW winds will gust 30-40 mph throughout the day. We are looking at around 1/2" - 1" of rain NW of the Fox Valley with much less towards the Lakeshore.
Enough cold air will wrap in behind this storm to change the rain showers over to a wintry mix or snow showers on Friday.
A cold snap takes over on Friday through the weekend with upper 30s to lower 40s expected. There will be a chance of some snow/mix on Sunday. Some accumulating snow is possible. stay tuned........
