Today is the first official day of fall and we are welcoming it with a frost advisory for Langlade County. Temperatures could fall into the mid to upper 30s there tonight. Elsewhere, lows should remain in the lower to upper 40s, expect near 50 by the lake under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies and a steady wind around 10 mph out of the north.
Thursday will feature a mixture of sun and clouds and the potential for some light rain showers, especially around the shoreline. Highs will climb into the mid 60s with a breezy northerly wind around 10-20 mph with gusts near 30 mph.
Friday will start off dry with a steady south wind which will help us climb back into the lower to mid 70s. A cold front will approach from the west later in the afternoon or evening, igniting some showers or storms.
Saturday will be cooler behind the cold front with highs in the mid 60s.
Sunday will climb back into the lower 70s under mostly sunny skies.
