Some showers and storms are expected today. An area of low pressure will track south of the viewing area, but moisture will travel north, bringing some rain to the southern Fox Valley in the morning.
Later in the afternoon, some daytime heating will cause some instability to spark off some isolated showers and thunderstorms. Brief and heavy downpours are possible. Temperatures will climb into the upper 60s to around 70.
Highs climb into the mid 70s Thursday with mostly sunny weather for most of the day. There will be a slight chance of an afternoon shower.
Additional chance of showers continue Friday through next week Tuesday with this persistent northwest upper level pattern providing several weak disturbances to the area.
