The heat and humidity are back today as high temperatures rise into the upper 80s and lower 90s. With this hot weather will also come strong winds out from the southwest around 15-20 mph sustained and gusts up to 35-40 mph.
There will be some scattered showers and storms later in the evening as a cold front moves through. A risk of severe weather is possible with hail and damaging winds.
Sunny skies return Friday with highs back in the lower 80s with west winds around 5-15 mph.
The weekend starts off nicely with highs in the lower 80s on Saturday. Sunday, we might have a shower or thunderstorm with mostly sunny skies otherwise.
Monday will also bring a slight chance of showers or storms in the afternoon with highs in the lower 80s.
