There is some patchy dense fog this morning, but that will erode rapidly by the late morning.
Heat advisories are in effect today as temperatures rise into the 90s and dew points in the 70s make the heat index climb into the lower 100s. Lakeshore areas will get natural air conditioning compared to areas further inland. We shall see mostly sunny skies.
Wednesday, temperatures will be back in the upper 80s and lower 90s with another sunny start to the day but showers and thunderstorms will be returning. There is a slight risk of severe weather capable of hail, damaging winds, and a small percentage of a tornado.
Behind the front, temperatures will be in the mid 80s on Thursday followed by lower 80s on Friday.
