There is a risk for strong to severe storms today capable of hail and damaging winds. Right now it appears the best area to see these storms will be in the southern half of the viewing area with an even greater risk in Southern Wisconsin. This will be something we will keep an eye on heading into the afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will warm into the mid 70s to the lower 80s under southeast winds at 10-15 mph. Lakeshore locations will likely remain in the upper 60s to around 70.

The hottest weather of June arrives Tuesday and Wednesday. We will see temperatures in the lower to mid 90s both days with humid conditions. After a long stretch of cool weather, this trend will come to an abrupt stop now that a southwest flow develops. There will be a slight chance of showers and storms both days. A better chance of storms will be Wednesday evening as an approaching cold front sparks off some strong to severe storms.

Behind the front, Highs will be down in the mid 80s on Thursday, followed by upper 70s and lower 80s heading into the weekend with mostly sunny weather.
