We are back to reality on this February 16th with chill air filling behind a cold front. A steady breeze out of the north will keep temperatures in the upper teens and lower 20s this afternoon but wind chills will likely be about 10 degrees cooler.
Tonight, temperatures will fall into the single digits as winds remain out of the northwest at 5-15 mph.
Winds really pick up on Friday with south winds sustained 15-25 mph with gusts 40-45 mph. It's all due to a clipper area of low pressure bringing some light snowfall to the area. A dusting to an inch of snow is not out of the question. Temperatures will rise into the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Another shot of cold air drops highs into the lower 20s on Saturday with mostly sunny skies. We do rebound into the mid 40s on Sunday followed by another strong push of cold air for next week. We could see some accumulating snowfall next week but pinpointing exact amounts is too early right now.
