An area of low pressure will move in tonight from the west, bringing snowfall to the area as temperatures fall into the mid 20s. Winds will pick up out of the east around 5-10 mph.

Most of the snowfall accumulations will occur north of Highway 29 from this system. There are winter weather advisories for some of our counties in the Northwoods. Totals will range from 3-7 inches with around 1-2 inches along the Highway 29 corridor and less than an inch south of that.

Some wintry mix will develop during the day Sunday with breezy southeast winds around 10-20 mph with gusts near 30 mph.

As we get into Sunday night, some wrap around precipitation moves through with a couple snow showers.

Temperatures will drop throughout the day Monday with wind chills into the single digits by the afternoon and evening.

Highs Tuesday will only be in the teens.
