An Extreme Cold Warning has been issued for all of the NBC 26 viewing area.
The coldest air mass in 7 years is on the way, with bitterly cold temps on Friday.
Temperatures will be 30 to 40 degrees below normal.
Highs will struggle to reach the negative single digits.
Wind chills will be in the -30s and -40s!!
On Saturday, we will warm back up...all the way to -2 degrees.
No BIG snow in the forecast, just lots of cold.
