Heat advisories continue for the viewing area today, with temperatures spiking to the mid 90s, coupled with dew points in the mid 70s making, the heat index feel like nearly 105°. Stay cool and stay hydrated! Heat is the number one weather killer, over tornadoes, floods and hurricanes.
Chances for a few thunderstorms could roll in after 3pm, chances are slim. Risks would include hail and strong winds. This is riding along a cold front that will drop our temperatures and humidity.
Wednesday highs will be down in the mid 80s, less muggy and include with more sunshine!
With that being said, expect slightly warmer weather, Thursday through Saturday with isolated showers and storms, with highs in the upper 80s.
Even cooler weather moves in and by Sunday, highs will be in the upper 70s rolling into next week.
