Winds pick up today as a cold front spills in, they will gust up to 30 mph out of the NE, with mostly sunny skies across the area. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
There is also an elevated fire risk this afternoon, as dew points remain low and gusty winds aid to spread fires.

Overall temperatures will be near normal with highs below average some days in the mid to lower 60s, and other days in the mid to upper 70s.

There will be a couple chances of rainfall with the best chance on Thursday and Friday. Those days will also have the warmest days of the week with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

The latest temperature trend from the Climate Prediction Center does have us under below average temperatures as we end the second half of the month so don't put away those sweaters just year.
