A cold front produced a few showers and thunderstorms across the area on Friday. Some of the storms brought heavy rain and severe weather.
Another cold front will move through on Saturday, bringing an isolated chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Otherwise, expect a mix of sun and clouds, gusty winds, and highs in the mid- to upper 70s.
A little taste of September is on the way for Sunday. Gusty northerly winds will usher in cooler air, while plenty of sunshine is expected. High temperatures will only reach the upper 60s to lower 70s. That means widespread temperatures in the 40s are likely by Monday morning, with some 30s possible across the north.
High pressure will remain in control Monday afternoon, bringing lots of sunshine and highs in the upper 70s. Temperatures will warm into the lower 80s on Tuesday, along with another chance of showers and thunderstorms.
