GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- The Coronavirus is shaking up routines across the globe, but it's important to adapt and do what you can to reduce the spread. Governor Tony Evers announced last week as part of an order that all of Wisconsin’s K-12 schools will close March 18th and reopen possibly on April 6th.

It can be a tough time just trying to keep children up with a school routine, but many children will want to know why. Experts say it's important to be able to talk to your children and explain what's happening.

Doctors say when you're talking with children try not to scare them. Talk about it in a way they can understand and reinforce good habits. Dr. Lynn Bufka who is the Senior Director for Practice, Research and Policy, says parents shouldn't promise anything. You can't promise that a family member or loved one won't get sick, but you can say you'll do everything you can to keep them safe.
