The past few years in Wisconsin could be described as tumultuous for Cephus. Two women accused the Wisconsin receiver of sexual assault in 2018. He was charged that August and kicked off the football team.
University officials reinstated Cephus and let him rejoin the football team after a jury acquitted him in August 2019.
When Cephus returned, he had a big year for a Badgers team that went to the Rose Bowl. In 2019, he had 59 catches for 901 and scored seven touchdowns.
