It will be a busy weekend for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers as both Brewers infielder Tyler Saladino and pitcher Zach Davies are rehabbing with the team.

Saladino played five innings at shortstop on Thursday going 0-2 with a walk at the plate. He is expected to play seven innings on Friday and the full game on Sunday before joining the Triple-A Colorado Sky Sox.

Thursday's game was the first time Saladino played since spraining his ankle on May 29 against the Cardinals. He said he is eager to return to the big club but happy to have a chance to test his ankle in Appleton first.

"I've never rolled my ankle before so I kind of had to get used to what it was like," he said. "I'm just going to go out there and play. It feels good."

Davies has been battling rotator cuff inflammation. He is 2-5 with a 5.23 ERA in games with the Brewers this year. Milwaukee GM David Stearns is also expected to be at the Timber Rattlers game on Friday.
