Packers GM Brian Gutekunst has seen the reports of internal strife between the organization and its management and its franchise quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, after quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt departed this offseason and after Jordy Nelson was released.
But if there is any truth to those reports of frustration, Gutekunst did not allude to it Monday.
"Nobody has voiced any frustrations to me or anything like that," Gutekunst said. "Ultimately, at the end of the day, it’s my job to do the task at hand, which is make decisions for the Green Bay Packers on our roster. But I’ve always felt like I was a good listener. I’ve been listening a lot the last couple weeks and will continue to do so."
Gutekunst on reported dissonance with Aaron Rodgers this offseason: I’m always willing to listen to any #Packers staff or players. I’ve been listening a lot the last couple weeks and will continue to do so.
