Packers running back Josh Jacobs returned to the field for the Packers' OTAs one week after his arrest and later release for allegations of domestic violence. He has not been formally charged.

Head coach Matt LaFleur described Tuesday as business as usual for the team's top running back.

Jacobs' teammates spoke publicly for the first time since news of his arrest, addressing how they are handling the situation.

"You know, I was shocked when I saw it," Quarterback Jordan Love said. "It's one of those things, we're going to let it play out. Obviously, the details are-- you know, we're keeping that-- everybody's keeping that under wraps right now, out of respect for the situation. And obviously, all the legal stuff that's going to be playing out. But it's great to have Josh here with us, be able to work with us and get that to work. But yeah, we're just-- kind of everybody's just waiting and let it play out," Love said.

Wide receiver Christian Watson said the team was informed quickly and is focused on moving forward.

"I think we've handled it well. I think that they told us everything that we needed to know right away as a team. And obviously, they let them out. And I mean, like I said, we're just kind of relying on the system that's in place and just keeping things going. I think there's a lot of distractions all the time in this business. We've got to focus on what we got in front of us and just keep going," Watson said.

Running back MarShawn Lloyd said he is respecting Jacobs' privacy.

"I mean, I don't really know, you know, anything. So I don't, I like to keep that personal side to Josh and whatever he got going on. That's my brother. Like I don't want to, you know, overstep my boundaries and try to figure things out. I also just try to just, you know, leave that to, you know, to him and everything that goes on. But yeah, that's my guy. And I mean, that's my brother for sure for life," Lloyd said.

Jacobs was not available for comment. Players who spoke with him said those conversations are being kept internal.

OTA's continue on Wednesday. The Packers will hold mandatory minicamp next week.
