He takes the role back from acting coach Joe Prunty, an assistant who guided the team from December 23rd through Saturday night's game against the Pelicans.

So far, Prunty's tenure has netted a 9-7 record for the Bucks who have improved defensively in that span of time. Milwaukee is on a three-game winning streak.

Previously, the Bucks were 10-18 under Kidd.

Kidd has appeared at practices for the team in recent days.
