After a number of Green Bay area schools decided to not participate in fall sports, Kaukauna High School elected to move forward.
"Looking not only at the risk of covid and not having school face to face, I think from our community standpoint and our school boards, we felt those benefits that we're seeing is something that we really wanted to explore," activity director, Chris Mcdaniels said.
As of now, the Galloping Ghosts have three games scheduled so far, but they're aiming for more.
"Realistically too, if we can get in that four or five or six range that's better than not having a season in our opinion," Mcdaniels said.
Kaukauna's first scheduled game is at home, on September 25th against Notre Dame Academy.
