Laconia closes out first-ever game at state tournament, beating Freedom, 67-53

GREEN BAY, Wis. — In its first-ever trip to state, Laconia closed out Thursday's Division 3 semifinal contest against Freedom, 67-53.

The No. 2-seeded Spartans were lifted by a game-high 28 points from Kiarra Otto. They led just 25-23 at the half against third-seeded Freedom.

Laconia is now 27-0 on the season as it prepares to face top-seeded Marshall on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Resch Center.
