Wrightstown finally got revenge over rival Freedom in a complete performance, winning 16-7 over the Irish.
Freedom holds the slight edge in this rivalry, 30-28, and the Irish also knocked Wrightstown out of the playoffs the last two years. This year's Tigers squad is undefeated, and to make another run at a conference championship, they’ll have to keep it that way.
Wrightstown drew first blood when running back Ben Jaeger broke free for 22 yards and a touchdown. A two-point conversion would make it 8-0, Tigers.
But late In the half, the Irish answered back when QB Reeve Lambrecht found Jon Verhasselt in the back of the end zone to trim the Tigers' lead to just 8-7.
During the first drive of the third quarter, Ben Jaeger scored his second touchdown of the game, capping a 91-yard drive and giving the Tigers a larger lead, 15-7.
Late in the game, Freedom was threatening when Lambrecht threw a pass to the back of the endzone only to be picked off picked off by Will Braeger.
