But late In the half, the Irish answered back when QB Reeve Lambrecht found Jon Verhasselt in the back of the end zone to trim the Tigers' lead to just 8-7.

During the first drive of the third quarter, Ben Jaeger scored his second touchdown of the game, capping a 91-yard drive and giving the Tigers a larger lead, 15-7.

Late in the game, Freedom was threatening when Lambrecht threw a pass to the back of the endzone only to be picked off picked off by Will Braeger.
