FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — To chants of “BRADY, BRADY, BRADY from fans in a half-filled Gillette Stadium, the returning hero trotted onto the field Sunday night for the first time as a visiting player.
Tom Brady knew exactly where he was, of course, and did his customary “Let’s Go,” fist pump after jogging the entire sideline.
The crowd responded with its cheer as Brady hugged Chiefs offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels before heading to the other end of the field to warm up.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick was nowhere in sight during pregame warmups on this warm, rainy night.
