The Associated Press released its preseason college football rankings Monday, and Wisconsin is ranked No. 4.
Ahead of the Badgers are No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Georgia. Big 10 rival Ohio State is No. 5.
The Badgers finished last season at No. 7 in the AP Top 25, after going 13-1 on the season and beating Miami in the Orange Bowl.
