For the next five years, Wisconsin Badgers football coach Paul Chryst will be making a lot more than oranges.
21 days after his Badgers won the Orange Bowl, the University of Wisconsin athletic board approved Chryst and three other coaches to have contract extensions.
Chryst's contract now runs through January 31, 2023, meaning he has five years on his current deal. He is set to make $3.2 million in 2018.
The same length was extended to volleyball coach Kelly Sheffield. Women's soccer coach Paula Wilkins and men's coach John Trask have deals extended fo January 31, 2021.
