Warrant issued for armed and dangerous suspect

Ashwaubenon Public Safety has issued a nationwide arrest warrant for Carl Franklin Self, 39, who has a lengthy criminal history and has alleged gang ties. Self is considered armed and dangerous.

Self is an armed suspect in a robbery at the Cash Store, 2815 S. Oneida Street. At 11:55 a.m. July 21, two males were parked by the Olive Garden restaurant in a dark colored car with dark windows. The passenger got out wearing a bandana over his face and blue latex gloves on his hands. He had a white with red brim baseball cap, dark hooded sweatshirt, sagged blue jeans with a pink or red belt and white Adidas tennis shoes. He entered the Cash Store displaying a black handgun and demanded money from the clerk. He also forced a patron to the floor during the robbery, taking the victim’s phone.

He’s Caucasian, 5 foot 11 inches tall and 200 pounds with a bald head and possibly light facial hair. 

Self purchased a four-door, dark blue 2005 Hyundai Elantra GLS/GT the day of the armed robbery and had temporary plate R8054H applied.
