Man dies after crash in town of Vandenbroek

TOWN OF VANDENBROEK, Wis. - One man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in the Town of Vandenbroek.

Authorities were called to the intersection of county highways JJ and N at 4:20 p.m. Friday.

A 59-year-old man from the Shiocton area was driving a car west on CTH JJ, failed to yield for a stop sign, and collided with a pick-up truck that was northbound on CTH N, according to the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the car was airlifted to a hospital where he later died, authorities said.

The driver of the pick-up truck, a 47-year-old man from the Freedom area, was treated at the scene, authorities said.

Alcohol was not a factor, authorities said.
