Trucking company holds bike drive for children in need

Posted

Some children in Northeast Wisconsin got an early Christmas present on Sunday.

The trucking company, Contract Transport Services, gave away bikes to children in need in the Northeast Wisconsin area.

Those bikes were donated by employees for the past month and kids were able to pick them out on Sunday.

"We all have a love for kids, whether they are grandkids, kids, nieces, nephews, that type of things, so this sort of brings the company together under one mission,” said Curt Reitz, Pres. of Contract Transport Services.

This was the third year the company hosted the bike drive.

It was part of a partnership with Foundations Health and Wholeness and the Brown County Pals program.
