The first of three suspects, accused of sexually assaulting a young girl, was sentenced to more than a decade in prison Monday.
A Fond Du Lac County Judge sentenced Tory Tuinstra, 18, to 13 years in prison for sexually assaulting a six year old girl, with two other people. The judge also sentenced him to 15 years of extended supervision.
As part of the plea deal Tuinstra accepted in December, two of his charges were dropped, in exchange for a no contest plea on the charge of second degree sexual assault of a child.
The two other people accused of assaulting the young girl, Ellen Neumann, 40, and Shane Berg, 41, will be sentenced in March.
