Teachers "dash for cash" to help schools


This year, a record $8,500 dollars was tossed into center ice for teachers to try and collect to benefit their respective schools.

Since 2015, the promotion put on by the gamblers and North Shore Bank raised over $20,000.

Sunrise Elementary School teacher Stephanie Roth participated for the second time and said she plans to use her winnings to buy Ipads for the Kindergartners, and books for the second graders.
