A graffiti image of what appears to be a swastika, alongside the name of President Trump, has caused concern among some residents of De Pere.
The graffiti appeared on a railroad bridge on Main Ave in De Pere over the weekend.
On Monday, the graffiti was covered with gray paint. According to a spokesman from Canadian National Railway, which is responsible for the bridge, railroad crews covered the vandalism.
Neighbors said they're happy someone painted over it, but are wondering who painted it in the first place and why.
"They're looking for something to do and they think that's fun, to go spray something or to do something like that, but it's really not a good thing," said Diana Bain, who lives in De Pere. "It doesn't look good to the city after you're done either, to see all that going on. I don't like that."
NBC26 has reached out to De Pere Police, but they have not commented yet on the incident.
