'Safer at Home is working': Gov. Tony Evers reinforces extension on Safer at Home

Gov. Tony Evers has faced backlash after extending the Safer at Home order through May 26. On Monday, the governor posted a video on social media reinforcing the decision.

In the video, titled 'Let's Get This Done Together,' Evers says, "Wisconsinites, I am once again calling on you to rise to the challenge. Safer at Home is working. We have reduced cases, prevented hospitalizations, and saved lives. So let’s get this done together."

Protesters gathered at the Wisconsin Capitolon Sunday to urge Gov. Tony Evers to lift his extended stay home order.
