For children with special needs, the mall during the holidays can be an overwhelming time. But everyone deserves a shot at seeing Santa.
To make it a little easier on them, Bay Park Square Mall hosts Caring Santa.
That allows those kids to come in before the mall opens to see Old Saint Nick and make some Christmas memories.
“Families love it. We've seen families come year after year. Since ive been here, I've seen the same families come for upwards of six years so it's really nice to see they're creating the memory year after year with us here at the mall,” said Stephanie Blavat-Vesely, Bay Park Square Mall.
The mall works with Autism Speaks to put on the event.
More than 30 families took advantage of the opportunity.
