The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has confirmed a second pediatric flu death this season.
The first pediatric death was reported in February.
According to a report, during the week of March 23, flu activity in Wisconsin peaked with 338 flu-associated hospitalizations.
The DHS said the death occurred in the state's southern region but did not specify where.
Since Oct. 1 of last year, there have been 82 pediatric deaths nationwide.
